Repowering of Leila

This custom built 9m aluminium commercial fishing boat was up for repowering and the 265hp Toyota based Nanni T4.270 was the engine of choice.

Based in Birkdale, Brisbane, the Leila had the new engine installed and, matched with a Konrad 520 sterndrive, has recorded a maximum speed of 24 knots at 3660rpm. The cruising speed is 18 knots at 3000rpm.
